Yes, this is the obligatory snowy day post. It snowed. In fact, it’s still snowing. One of my friends says the radar looks like a winter hurricane. Whoopie.
Abby’s school was canceled before she got in the car last night. Brian emailed to say he’d be working from home before we went to bed. Jan spent the night last night and is staying again tonight so she doesn’t have to drive in the snow. I work in my house, so I didn’t have too much of a snow day.
I did have the opportunity to play outside with Abby for a while, though. Midmorning, Brian went out to snowblow the driveway (which just sounds vaguely dirty, doesn’t it??) and Abby and I bundled up and played in the snow.
And I took pictures. And I uploaded those pictures. And I deleted them off the memory card because I had uploaded them. And they didn’t upload. But they sure did delete off the memory card.
Bummer.
Anyway.
So we had lots of fun in the snow, came in, got all warm, the end.
Except that I’m supposed to fly to Chicago tomorrow. (It’s always Chicago.) But it’s not supposed to stop snowing until 7:00 am. We’ll see if I make it. Wish me luck!
