Travels with Abby
We just got back (almost a week ago) from a fun family vacation in Florida with the delightful Miss Abigail. No we didn’t go to Mickey’s place. Not this year anyways (hint, hint). Instead, we stayed in the Sarasota area at Grandma and Bapa’s new winter home.
Our vacation started with a very early flight from our little regional airport. Abby had fun twirling on the stools in the little coffeeshop.
When we landed in Tampa, we needed to take the monorail, which is also a source of much preschooler joy. This is especially true if said preschooler gets to sit at the very front of the train and look out the big window.
Of course, we did just tons and tons of stuff, inlcuding trips to the aquarium, seeing a baseball game, visiting family and generally doing anything within our power to blow Abby’s regular schedule to smithereens.
Abby’s favorite new activity was hanging out with Bapa on the kitchen stools. They apprently formed a comedy duo while Brian and I slept in each morning. And they were kind enough to perform a little bit during one of our many car rides. Without further ado, I present Just a Couple’a Joes, starring Abby and Bapa. (BTW her first motion is sipping a cup of imaginary coffee. It took me a minute to figure out what the slurping was.)
