So, Saturday Abby and I attended her friend Taylor’s Princesses and Pirates birthday party! And it took place right! At! Naptime! Hooray!
After refusing to so much as “take a rest” after waking up at 5:00 in the morning (oh yeah, have I mentioned the 5:00 wake up calls we’ve been getting every morning?? It’s just as pleasant as it sounds) Abby changed into her fancy clothes, allowed me to take a picture outside, and piled into the car.

… five minutes before we arrived at the party. Which is, you know, a recipe for disaster.
She actually behaved herself pretty well. She played with the other kids and really came into her own when the group went into the gym with the trampoline and the bouncy mats and the ZIP LINE, FTW!!

Then we had pizza (which Abby didn’t eat) and cake (which Abby nibbled at but didn’t really eat) and got in the car and came home. The end. It was a lot of fun, and thanks, Taylor for inviting us!
