I have questions

Like, does your 20 minutes on the elliptical still count as exercise if you follow it up with a caramel-pecan sticky bun?

And why does Abby now need to get into our bed at 4:00 in the morning? Follow-up: when will it end?? Follow-up follow-up: When will she learn to be a better sleeper? This has gone on long enough.

Is this really the answer to issues in international adoptions? (Leave a comment on the AdoptingMamas open thread!)

Why does not-my-dog still live here and why did I take him on yet another walk yesterday if hes not my dog? Follow-up: How sad is it that the thought of him leaving makes me a little misty?

How excited am I about CPSI? Oh, I know the answer: way excited!! My name’s even on the website! (Thursday, 3:30-5:00.)

What are you wondering today? Leave a comment, maybe the wisdom of the internets can help answer it. Kinda like a ouija board only with less creep factor.

4a. I agree with Tricia. Congratulations!

Going with not-my-dog, have you read “not-a-stick” and “not-a-box”? They are awesome books.

    1. Yeah, totally. It’s a good thing you did the exercise, because you know you were gonna eat that thing anyway.
2a. Probably because all three-year-olds are evil. I think that Eliza did that for a while until we convinced her that staying in her own bed all night was an awesome, big-girl thing to do… and there may have been threats of putting the crib back together.
2b. Being three will end when she’s four. Getting in your bed (which must be crowded with the dog there) will end.
    2c. Hopefully soon.
    3. No. I feel like we, as a country, have been scolded. I can’t blame Russia for taking that action, really, but it doesn’t really seem like that’s the solution.
4a. Because he is your dog. Congratulations.
    4b. Not sad at all.
    5. You answered that yourself.
    6. Why has my left foot been tingling all day?
