Sooooo. I’m not really back from vacation yet. I’m no longer in Maine, but I’m writing this post from my mother-in-law’s kitchen table. I’m off to Europe on Thursday with a passel of Girl Scouts (pray for me) and Abby’s spending the next 2 weeks at Camp Grandma. But before I can leave on my next [...] I’m tempted not to post this because then everyone will know about it. At the end of the month (220 hours from the time of this writing, but who’s counting?), we’re going on a big Griswold-style family vacation to my favorite vacation spot in the whole world. Mom was a little nervous at first (actually, so was I, never having ridden a Segway before), but the tour included training. So we showed up at the place, strapped on our helmets and [...] Every spring I run into the same little “problem.” With a strong desire to just DO something already after a long, cold winter, and an overabundance of potential projects falling into my lap, I start saying, “Yes!” To lots and lots of stuff. Even when I have been physically in the house, I have been working, working, working. Otherwise, I’ve been flying in circles, running around keeping clients happy, making the data behave, making it all look easy and effortless, even without luggage. And then I get home [...] As you read this, I am in Cincinnati, working my buns off on a Building Blocks(sm) study. I love what I do, which is great, and I travel a lot when we’re busy.
