I mentioned a few days ago that I’ve been throwing a lot of stuff out of my life that just didn’t fit. And my office got a mini-makeover as a result. It will be a major makeover once I actually get the can of paint down that I bought a year ago and paint [...] I know that the easiest way to keep my blog going is to post something every weekday, even when I don’t think I have anything to write about. So forgive me as I write what is unlikely to be my all-time favorite post. It’s funny because I feel like I’m getting back in the [...] What a month I’ve had today, er, yesterday. I helped Abby start her nebulizer treatment, which by all reports has been a miracle worker and she’s off to school today, and headed out to the car at 8 yesterday morning. We got to the airport, paid a king’s ransom to check our 4 bags [...] In which I show my marketing fangirl side. I have never hidden my love for Tom Fishburne‘s ideas. He writes a fantastic, hilarious cartoon about marketing, business and innovation. In other words, right in my wheelhouse. New Directions Consulting has been licensing his cartoons for our newsletter for the past few months (we also [...] I get asked that question a lot. Usually via Facebook, when I post to my status whatever stupid, yummy, sugary treat I’ve just made myself. (Yesterday it was homemade chocolate-caramel ice cream. YUM!!) It’s been posited that I am either on crack, have an extreme case of ADD, or simply have a resting stress [...] As in, whoa, dang, my January is busy! All the positive vibes we put out there last year (when we thought we might be out business and no one bothered to tell us) were apparently just echoing around the universe, amplifying one another until they were ready to come crashing down on our desks [...] I love how puppies sleep, all nestled together in a warm, furry, puppy pile. That’s what today reminded me of in the office. See, we had Jan, who’s moved up to Dad’s old office, me in the middle and Mom in her offic4e. So far, the same as every other day.
