I feel that, as Sammy’s mom, I am required to comment I would be inclined to defend my son’s clearly honorable intentions, and to reassure readers that he is a gentleman. But really all I can do is to concur that it was adorable and hysterical… and I could not expect anything else when Sammy and Abby are involved! Abby coming down the stairs in her undies, a plaid sweater, and Sammy’s three-year-old Halloween costume was one of the funniest things I have seen in a loooooong time! Next time she comes over we have a cowboy hat I think she would look just smashing in!

I have already had to say similar things to Victor. S is known to cuddle in bed with her friend G. They sit there like an old married couple ‘reading’ books. They grow up way too fast sometimes!

Well, gin IS important!

When we were on vacation two weeks ago, we had to take our minivan instead of our Mazda 3, due to three suitcases filled with 10 days worth of clothes, two laptops, a huge pile of books, two sacks of groceries, and four cases of beer and a case of wine. Priorities, you know.

I have been amazed at what can be fit into a Prius! Especially with the back seats down (although that doesn’t sound like an option for you.

For my move last weekend I was planning on driving my Camry, but the check engine light came on so we took my parents Prius instead. We were able to fit so much into that car!

We’ve been listening to the radio at dinnertime for the last week or so, and it has been so much fun. We don’t get many stations, so it’s always tuned to this one that plays a mix of the most random music ever. They play a lot of Phil Collins, which is pretty much amazing. Olive gets disturbed when Adrian and I sing along…

The other day when I picked up Abby from school, we were pulling into the driveway and “I’m a Believer” was playing on the “Abby Mix”. I was singing it and Abby asked me not to turn it off until the song was over. In two seconds flat, the two of us were dancing around the garage, singing with the music.

Then Abby reaches in to the car, pulls out the microphone and starts dancing and singing as if she had been doing it all her life of 3 years!
